Evelyn Flowers Bradford, age 89 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, July 27, 2012, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Bradford will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee.

Mrs. Bradford was born September 10, 1922, in Dyer; the daughter of the late Vernon and Betra Flowers. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company and a member of New Concord Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bradford is survived by one son, Charles King and spouse, Faye; two grandchildren, Charles Allen King and spouse Lavonna, and Carla King Woodruff and spouse, Doug; and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lovell King and C.M. “Red” Bradford; and three brothers, Junior Flowers, Jimmy Flowers and George Flowers.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, July 30. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Evelyn Flowers Bradford.
