He was a great man of God. He loved to learn more about God with each and every day. He loved his daughters and their families. May God be with each and every one of his family members at this time of their loss. Mr. Barbee will be missed here at the Veteran's Home in Humboldt, however I know that he is truly happy to be with God. May God Bless you all, Debra

My Prayers and thoughts go out to the family of Don Barbee.
My cousin called me today and told of him passing. The last time I saw
Don was at the Hoskins Reunion at Reelfoot Lake in June of 1988.
I am the granddaughter of Gentry & Fossie Hoskins. I live in Elgin, Il. and
will not make it to the funeral but, wanted to send my condolences.
In Christian Love, Betty (Hoskins) Doherty

Janey and Julie and all the rest of the family. I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. We love you all, and will forever remember Don and your Mom and you girls. I didn't realize he was still at Humboldt, and had missed seeing him the last several months. I am sorry I did not know in time to come over.
Thinking of years past... Love to you all.
Becky, Mike, and Daddy... Wm. J. Bunch Family
