Prayors and Condolence to the Powers Family.
I knew Mr. Powers from the Whites Detector Forum. He always was there for everyone when it came to Civil war information. He was always kind and helped so many people with his knowledge. He will be very missed by all of us on the forum. God bless him and your family. Dana from Missouri.

I only conversed and knew Earl from the one of the many metal detecting forums but I considered him a friend and good man from the many dialogues we had. He had a very positive impact on alot of people throughout the hobby and I know we will miss his "down home " personality , honesty and willingness to help out others on the forum. To me he was a real southern gentleman and what I would call "Genuine". I will miss his presence and charm on the forum and my heart goes out to the family , may God Bless him and you all in the difficult time .
Sincerely ,
Dan LaMontagne

Was sad to learn of the passing of a cousin...Earl''s dad and my dad, Pleas Powers, were brothers. I have good memories of visting with Earl''s family when I was around 17. I specifically remember staying at their house when we came down for Daddy Powers'' funeral. My sympathies to all, and I would love to hear from anyone down there...my dad has been gone since 1974...longer than he was with us. My mom, Ruby, passed a year ago this June. Once again, thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort in your time of loss... Barb Powers Hammond, Midland, MI
