Mrs. Marilyn Jane McNeil, age 71, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away from this life on May 14, 2012. Funeral services for Mrs. McNeil will be conducted on Friday, May 18, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Rev. Mark Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in Bells Chapel Cemetery of Dyer.
Mrs. McNeil was born April 8, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio; the daughter of the late Samuel and Carmen Plunket Sheerwood.
Mrs. McNeil is survived by one daughter, Barbara Pack and husband Kenny; one son, Robert Broxterman and wife Luci; three grandchildren, Rebecca Cowan, William Broxterman, Chelsea Broxterman; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Marlene Stout, Marietta Smith and husband Hershel, and Marcia Bolger and husband Jack.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 17. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Marilyn Jane McNeil.
