Ruth Carnelia Fletcher, age 81 of Bruceton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at Humboldt Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Fletcher will be conducted on Monday, August 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, Tennessee.
Mrs. Fletcher was born February 23, 1931, in Dyer, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Jessie Earl and Turie Pearl Bradford. She was a machine operator at Douglas & Lomas in Milan. She was member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by a daughter, Linda Smith; one son, Travis Ray Barnett; two granddaughters, Angela Smith and Alicia Smith; three great-grandchildren, Brittnie Butler, Dillon Butler, William Revard; one sister, Helen Stagner; two brothers, Billy Bradford and Wayne Bradford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Fletcher, and a sister, Mary Vernell Kyle.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2012. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ruth Carnelia Fletcher.
