Allen Blanton

Mr. Allen Wayne Blanton, age 63, of Mayfield, Kentucky, passed away from this life on March 31, 2016, at Western Baptist Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Blanton will be conducted on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 2pm in the Kenton Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton, TN. He was born November 6, 1952 in Bartow, Florida; the son of Carroll Blanton and Ellen Burke. He was a Retired Army Veteran. He served his country with the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Blanton; five children, Chad Blanton, Patrick Blanton, Cathy Lynn Cantrell (Mike), Melissa Eigenraugh, and Sandy Blanton; one brother, Lonnie Blanton; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11-2pm, on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Kenton Chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
