Mr. Altas ‘Punkin’ Hill Jr., age 73 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at home. Cremation services for Mr. Hill are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.

He was born October 26, 1952, in Union City, TN; son of the late Altas LaHue & Myrtle Louise (Gurien) Hill. Punkin worked for the Obion County Highway Department as a truck driver.

Punkin is survived by his son, Joel Simmons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Hill.
