Andrew “Andy Boy” Martin Alexander, age 13 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at his home. Funeral services for Andrew “Andy Boy” Alexander will be conducted on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Scott Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery in Rutherford, Tennessee Andrew was born March 27, 2003 Union City, Tennessee; the son of Kevin and Judy Alexander. He was a student at Rutherford Junior High School, a member of Boy Scout Troop 243, and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Andrew is survived by his parents, Kevin and Judy Alexander; two sisters, Jessica Alexander and Courtney Alexander; Grandma and Grandpa Brenda Sue Petty Hoover and Paul Hoover; Grandmother (Nana) Nancy Alexander; and Granny Molly Morris. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jerry Lee Alexander and Andrew Morris. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Monday, March 20, 2017.
