Ann Pate

Mrs. Tresia Ann Pate age 89 of Rutherford, TN passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral service for Mrs. Pate will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford. Visitation for Mrs. Pate will begin at 11: 00 am – 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the Rutherford chapel. Burial will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.

Mrs. Tresia Ann Pate was born on September 14, 1931 to the late Harmel. L and Melba Owens Johnson.  She was owner and operator of Pate's Department Store, along with being a loving mother and homemaker. Mrs. Pate was a member of the Rutherford Church of Christ.

Mrs. Pate is survived by two sons, Bradley Pate, and Bruce Pate (Lisa); five grandchildren, Adam Pate, Bobby Barber, Miranda Pate, Jenilee Pate, Katie Pate; and four great - grandchildren, Madi Pate, Maci Pate, Jordon Barber, Hayden Barber. Mrs. Pate was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pate; her daughter, Sherry Pate Barber; and her parents.

Pallbearers are Tracy Tate, Glyn Whitworth, Tim Roberts, Bobby Wilson Jr., Mike McCullar, Bubba Kelly.  Honorary pallbearer is Jerry Kilburn.
