Annie Ruth Tidwell

Mrs. Annie Ruth Tidwell, age 71 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mrs. Tidwell will be conducted on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm at New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends providing stories with/and of Mrs. Tidwell. Interment will follow immediately afterwards.

She was born December 20, 1949, in Union City, TN; the daughter of the late Carl Jowers & Magdalene Maness Jowers.  She was a cook at Ridgemont Elementary School.  Annie loved to cook, and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her mom, Magdalene Jowers of Kenton; one daughter, Angela Boshers (Kenneth) of Kenton; two sisters, Kay Meadows of Kenton, Carlene Meadows of Rutherford; two brothers, Danny Jowers of Kenton, Dean Jowers of Union City; best friend, LaDeena Rotger of Yorkville; two grandchildren, Ashley, and Christy Litchford both of Kenton; and one great granddaughter, Candice Litchford of Kenton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Tidwell; and her father, Carl Jowers.
