Ms. Betty Jewell Blackburn, age 82 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, February 6, 2026, at her home. Funeral services for Ms. Blackburn will be conducted on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2PM in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer with Noah Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer.

She was born October 30, 1943, in Friars Point, MS; daughter of the late Robert and Willie B. Barbee Hudson. She was a teacher’s aide at Humboldt School before her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Rodney Blackburn and Craig Blackburn; one brother, Charles Hudson; three grandchildren, Jacob Blackburn (Halee), Nikki Blackburn (Chris Dawson), Noah Blackburn (Kelly); and two great-grandchildren Becca and Nova. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John William Blackburn, parents, and her siblings, Mattie Bee, Gene, Bobby, Robert Jr., Edina, Gracey, and her twin brother Joel.
