Betty Brooks

Mrs. Betty Jean Brooks passed away from this life on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 at the age of 73. Born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Melvin W. and Ida Imogene (nee Church) Ashmore on April 14, 1943. Her sister Beverly Ann also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Marie (Kerry) Boyd; granddaughter, Brooke Marie Boyd; step-children Tom and Jenny Brooks, their father Gary Brooks; a sister Gloria Ashmore; she is a dear aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many. Visitation will be held at Kriegshauser West Mortuary, 9450 Olive Blvd., Olivette, MO 63132, on Wednesday, January 18 from 1:00 to 7:00 pm. Then to Karnes and Son Funeral Home, 134 College Street, Dyer, TN 38330 on Thursday from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. A committal service will be held at 1:45 pm in the Oakwood Cemetery Dyer, TN.
