Betty Carol Hopper

Mrs. Betty Carol Hopper, age 82 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Hopper will be conducted on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 12PM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.

She was born March 19, 1943, in Greenfield, TN; the daughter of the late Banks & Louise Turner. She was a homemaker after her retirement from Kellwood and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rutherford.

Mrs. Hopper is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hopper; children, Jeff Johnson (Roxanne), Kevin Johnson (Celina), Tabby Workman (Tim), Scotty Hopper, Jonathan Hopper; grandchildren, Zach Hopper (Chelsey), Candice Kemp (Chase), Brice Johnson, Alyssa Hopper; and great-grandchildren, Lexus Kemp, Hoyt Kemp, Lincoln Hopper, and Lynlee Hopper. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David Turner.

Pallbearers will be Alyssa Hopper, Josh Hopper, Brian Hinton, Chase Kemp, Dana Penn, Zach Hopper, Brice Johnson, and T.J. Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 10AM until service time, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Betty Carol Hopper.
