Mrs. Betty Ann Knox, age 61 of Byhalia, Mississippi, formerly of Dyer, Tennessee passed away on May 7, 2026, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. Funeral service for Mrs. Knox will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and go until service time at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery.

Mrs. Betty Ann Knox was born December 6, 1964, to the late Larry and Carolyn Barber Knox. She was a Building Superintendent for Security Builders for 12 years and a graduate of Gibson County High School.

Mrs. Betty Ann Knox is survived by her husband, James Rickman; daughters, Meredith Scott, and Michele Stanford; two nephews, John Singleton, and Josh Singleton; three grandchildren, Makynlee Scott, Makayla Smith, and Megan Fulce; and three great-grandchildren, Rylan Trace Watson, Kase Wayne Watson, Kylan Amir Smith.

Mrs. Betty Ann Knox was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Carolyn Knox, and her sister, Donna Ray.
