Bettye Bugg

Bettye Gray Wells Bugg, age 85 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mrs. Bugg were conducted on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Ms. Bettye was born February 11,1932 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and a member of the Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Kyle Bugg; one daughter, Beth Mullins and husband Kent; one son, K.C Bugg; two grandchildren, Samantha Litton, and Sarah Beth Mullins; and two great–grandchildren, Addyson Litton and Bryce Litton; and one brother John “Bill” Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred Midyett and John W. Wells. Ms. Bettye loved Jesus and always tried to put others first. She loved animals, camping, fishing, and watching women’s softball and basketball. However, more than anything in the world, Bettye loved her family and will be gravely missed.
