Bettye Halliburton

Mrs. Bettye Jo Halliburton, age 82 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on September 7, 2015, at Dyer Nursing Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Halliburton will be conducted on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Rutherford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5-8 in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. She was born March 14, 1933 in Gibson Co.; the daughter of the late George and Kate Norman Eddlemon. She was a retired Section Supervisor for Walmart. She was a member of the Northern’s Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by two son Douglas Halliburton, Brian Halliburton, and one daughter Christa Bearden. She was preceded in death by her husband George Nunnery Halliburton, and one sister and two brothers.
