Bettye Luton

Bettye Jo Luton, age 85 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 4, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services for Ms. Luton will be conducted on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Mutter officiating. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Mason Hall, Tn. Ms. Luton was born June 9, 1930 in Gibson Co, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Dudley and Bessie Graves Luton. Ms. Luton was a Retired Retail Clerk, and Advisory Assistant for Harlon Morris Retirement Home. Ms. Luton was active member of the Dyer First Methodist Church, and the John Wesley Sunday School Class, the Mason Hall Community Club, and the Coffee Break Club. Ms. Luton is survived by her “adopted” daughter Renee Galloway Gaylord and husband James, Hunter Galloway and wife Leanne, Kayla Richardson and husband Josh, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Cecil Luton The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, February 8, 2016, in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ms. Bettye Jo Luton.
