Billy Carroll

Mr. Billy Ray Carroll age 79 of Dyer , Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, December 17th, 2018, at Jackson Madison County Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Carroll will be conducted on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Karnes and Son Funeral Home Dyer Chapel. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer. Mr. Carroll was born January 20th, 1939 in Hohenwald , Tennessee; the son of the late George Herbert and Osie Ola Walker Carroll. He was a retired truck driver for Consolidated Freight. Mr. Carroll is survived by three daughters, Vonnie Brown-Rogers and husband Reuben, Paula Pierce and husband David, Sylvia Hassell and husband Tim; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Carroll; his parents, George Herbert and Osie Ola Walker Carroll; two sisters, Bonnie Pipkin, Betty Davidson; and five brothers, Charles Carroll, Wilton Carroll, Donnie Carroll, Jackie Carroll, Willard Carroll. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Karnes and Son Funeral Home Dyer Chapel.
