Bobby Gene Primrose October 7th, 1941 - Sunday, September 9th, 2018 Mr. Bobby Gene Primrose age 76 of Sharon , Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, September 9th, 2018, at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Primrose will be conducted on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Kenton Chapel, 217 W. Church St. Kenton, Tennessee, with Bro. Nathan Horton officiating. Interment will follow in Tansil Cemetery, Sharon, Tennessee. Mr. Primrose was born October 7th, 1941 in Kenton , Tennessee; the son of Murrel Odell and Lou Emma Ring Primrose. Mr. Primrose was retired from the Obion County Sheriffs Department, and the Kenton Police Department. Mr. Primrose was Baptist in faith. Mr. Primrose is survived by his daughter, Darla Elliott and husband Terry; three grandchildren, Erin Elliott, Sarah Elliott Thomasson, Rebecca Elliott Hart; three great grand children, Elliott Thomasson, Hadley Thomasson, Caroline Hart; one brother, J. D. Primrose; and two sisters, Karon Smith, and Peggy Hutchison. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Primrose; his parents; one brother, Jerry Primrose; and a sister, Shelby Jean Kennemer. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, September 14th, 2018 at Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Kenton Chapel in Kenton.
