Brenda Faye Franks, 79 of Corinth passed from this life on June 15, 2026 at her sister's home in Corinth. She was born April 17, 1947 in Trenton, TN to the late Luther James and Dorothy Marie Owens Franks. She is of the Church of Christ faith and a retired Staff SGT of the U. S. Air Force.

Brenda loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, working in her flower garden and listening to gospel music. She loved being in the U. S. Air Force.

Brenda is survived by her sister, Dorothy Ann Hopkins; niece and caregiver, Vonda Fellows; great nieces and nephew, Tristan Wampler (Ashley) and Marina Grage; a host of great great nieces and nephews; and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William James Franks; and 2 nephews, Ronald Hopkins and James Thomas Franks.

A gathering of friends and family will take place at Magnolia Funeral Home- East Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 1pm-2pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Bro. Warren Jones and Bro. Ronnie Hatfield will officiate the service.

Miss Franks will be laid to rest Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 2pm with Military Honors at Rutherford Cemetery in Rutherford, TN. Karnes and Sons Funeral Home will be in charge of the graveside service. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Miss Brenda Faye Franks.
