Brenda Faye Holland

Mrs. Brenda Faye Rickman Holland, age 78 of Dyer Tennessee, passed away from this life peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Graveside service for Mrs. Holland will be conducted on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow.

Brenda was born February 2, 1944, in  Dyer, TN; the daughter of the late Dole and Mary Rickman.  Known as “Miss Brenda” to her many students, she taught over 40 years at Dyer schools. Her admiration and mastery of music was very evident as she served as pianist and organist on  many occasions for over four decades in her community. Brenda was tender-hearted and had a love for animals. Her appreciation and knowledge of antiques were apparent throughout her home. Her ideas and organizational skills were key to the completion of several worthy projects in Dyer in the 1980-90’s. Her involvement and service to her community was recognized by all who knew her.

Brenda is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Don Holland.
