Brenda Wall

Brenda Mathis Wall, 71, of Sunset Harbor, NC, formerly of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Brenda was born in Charlotte on January 1st, 1947 to Mr. Marvin and Virginia White. She was retired from Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and was a member of Sunset Harbor First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Larry White; one daughter, Tammy Mathis Peak; one grandchild, Charlie Helms; and late husband, Ervin Olin Mathis.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 2:00pm at Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home in Matthews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home prior to the service.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Wall, of the home; two daughters, Rhonda Curles McCall and her husband Eric McCall of Bolivia, Liza Lawson and her husband Joe Lawson of Maiden; grandchildren Cristy Helms, Ryan Curles, Breanna Curles, Tiffany Curles, Evan McCall, Zack Watkins, Nikayla Watkins, Jake Fish and Gina Helms; great-grandchildren Dexter Moore, Aiden Plyler and Natalie Helms; and many cousins.
