Carlton Eugene Williams, age 84 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be conducted on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Burkacki officiating. Interment will follow in Bethpage Cemetery, in Kenton.
He was born November 25, 1935 in Gibson County; the son of the late Eric & Virgie Littleton Williams.
He was an employee for the State of Tennessee, retired farmer, and member of Bethpage Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sonja Williams; three children, Terry Williams, Tammie Wade, Rhonda Johnstone; and five grandchildren, Lyndsey Nelson, Josh Nelson, Carleigh Wade, Cody Johnstone, and Nicole Shamlin (Holden). He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Williams; sister, Katherine Garrett; and niece, Sherri Baldwin.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Carlton Eugene Williams.
