Charles Eddlemon

Mr. Charles Wayne Eddlemon, age 75 of Rutherford, passed away from this life on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Milan General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Eddlemon will be conducted on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, in Rutherford. Mr. Eddlemon was born in Gibson County, TN; the son of the late Harold and Frances (Peevyhouse) Eddlemon. He was self-employed as a Sheet Rock & Drywall Contractor. He served in the US Navy, and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Eddlemon; four children, Tina Vinson, Toby Eddlemon, Tammy Reasons, and Tim Eddlemon; one brother, Jackie Eddlemon; nine grandchildren, Holly Pettigrew, Barrett Reasons, Cody Vinson, McKenna Vinson, Taylor Allmon, Courtney Anderson, Chassidy Eddlemon, Colby Eddlemon, and Wesley Eddlemon; and nine great grandchildren. Mr. Eddlemon was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 11:00am-2:00pm, Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
