Charles Gammons

Mr. Charles Gammons, age 76 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at his home surrounded by family. Funeral services for Mr. Gammons will be conducted on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Shannon Saliba and Bro. Don Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in China Grove Cemetery of Rutherford. He was born February 13, 1939 in Gibson County, Tennessee; the son of the late Charlie and Louise Gammons. He was retired from Kellwood Company and a member of China Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, Charles Wayne Gammons and Melissa Gail Ellison; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Antoinette Knott Gammons; two children, Darlene Grady and Dona Gail Gammons, granddaughter Brandy Grady and sister, Mary Sue Simmons. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Friday, November 20, 2015 in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford.
