Mr. Charles Robert Reed, age 40 of Dyer, TN, passed away from this life on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services for Charles will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.at the First Baptist Church in Dyer. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Dyer, TN and a Celebration of Life Service at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN at 6:00pm. Charles was born February 27, 1976 in Union City; the son of John R. “Butch” and Patsy London Reed. Charles and his wife Spring founded Charles and Spring Ministries and he was also the Vice President of John R. Reed Trucking and President of Solid Rock Specialized Transport in Dyer. He was a graduate of Union University, and student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was known for Evangelism, Public Speaking, Business Administration, and Executive Writing. He was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. He lived his life so that others would know Christ. His life verse was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Charles is survived by his loving wife Spring Stohler Reed, his beautiful twins, London Christina, and Charles Lucian Reed, his parents John R. “Butch” and Patsy Reed, sister Jennifer Hartt and husband Fred, and brother Johnny Reed and wife April, nieces and nephews, and host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents R.S and Mary Lee Reed and L.W. and Myrtle London. The family will receive friends from 11-12:45pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Charles Robert Reed.
