Charles Samuel Simpson

Mr. Pete Simpson age 82 of Kenton, TN passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Simpson will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Kenton, with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time.  Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating.

Charles Samuel Simpson was born July 9, 1938 in Kenton, TN; to the late Harry and Mary White Simpson. Mr. Simpson retired as a maintenance worker for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Along with being an avid coon hunter, he loved his family and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Mr. Simpson is survived by two sons, Kevin Simpson, and Keith Simpson (Mary Nell); two grandchildren, Cainan Sawyer, and Jessica Simpson Warren; six great - grandchildren, Aider Sawyer, Nash Warren, Myla Warren, Aubry Warren, Emma Clark, Averie Kate (Baby Girl) Sawyer; one sister, Linda Hurst; and three brothers, Travis Simpson, Jamie Simpson, and Harry Lynn Simpson. Mr. Simpson was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Simpson; his daughter, Anna Simpson Sawyer; three brothers, Johnnie Mac Simpson, Terry Glynn Simpson, Michael Wayne Simpson; and his parents, Harry and Mary Simpson.
