Charlie Cole

Mr. William Charles “Charlie” Cole, age 70 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Milan General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Cole will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer.

He was born May 10, 1949 in Trenton, TN; the son of the late Carmon and Jessie James Cole. He was self-employed and owned Cole Auto Sales & Salvage and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife, Rita Cole; son, Jeremy Cole; brother, Johnny Cole; sister, Mary Talley; nephew, Allen Cole; two grandchildren, Dylan Cole (Paige), Macie Yergin (Austin); and one great grandchild, Avi Lynn Yergin. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Larry Cole, and Jimmy Harold Cole.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. William Charles “Charlie” Cole.
