April 29th, 1928 - June 11th, 2019 Della Faye Lane (Stephenson) age 91 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Union City. Funeral services for Mrs. Lane will be conducted on Friday, June 14th, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford Chapel with Bro. Steve Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery. She was born April 29th, 1928 in Gibson County; the daughter of James Monroe and Hessie Ann Stephenson (Dabbs). She married Harry Loyd Lane on February 19, 1949. She leaves behind one son, Stephen Lane and wife, Gayla of Dyersburg; one daughter, Stacy James (Lane) and husband, Steve of Rutherford; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Betie Murphy, Mattie Hollaway, Paul Stephenson; and former daughter in law, Cathy Lane Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; one son, Michael Lane; and siblings, Thomas Stephenson, Donald Stephenson, Terry Stephenson, Modine Montgomery, Lorene Matthews, and Johnnie Davis. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 13th, 2019, from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford Chapel.
