Dorothy Hatcher

February 28th, 1924 - April 29th, 2019 Dorothy Mae Hatcher age 95 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, April 29th, 2019, at her home. Graveside services for Mrs. Hatcher will be conducted on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the White Rose Cemetery with Amanda Goff speaking. Interment will follow in White Rose Cemetery, Gibson, Tennessee. She was born February 28th, 1924 in Waverly, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Homer and Annie Cullum Carter. She was a homemaker, and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by four children, Mary Ann Armstrong (Charles), Patsy Hughes, Gail Quinn, Donna Taylor (Lynn); one sister, Essie Rauchel; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilmer "Tommy" Hatcher; and her parents. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hatcher.
