Douglas Arnold Ward

Douglas Arnold Ward, age 72 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.

He was born April 2, 1951, in Washington State; the son of the late Paul A. & Donna Jean (Young) Ward. He retired from Martin Transport as a truck driver.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Wilma (Milam) Ward; two children, Amanda Chase, Travis Ward; sister, Pamela Jean Webb; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Arthur Ward.
