Mr. Earnest Phillip Rice, age 77 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Signature Health Care in Ridgely. Graveside services for Mr. Rice will be conducted on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 3PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer, TN. Military Honors will be observed at the cemetery.

Mr. Earnest Phillip Rice was born April 13, 1948, to the late Earnest Weldon and Lillie Leila Parker Rice. Mr. Rice was a retired tire builder for Goodyear Tire Manufacturing, along with being a Veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Rice is survived by his loving wife, Clara Rice; daughter, Amanda Turner (Jarrod); son, Ernie Rice (Heather); four grandchildren, Carley Beth Rice, Landon Rice, Joely Alexander (Tyler), Charlie Turner; two great grandchildren, Wrenley Jo Alexander, Remi Ann Alexander; two sisters, Cynthia Hall (Erwin), Theresa Rice; and one brother, Timothy "Tim" Rice (Denise). Mr. Rice was preceded in death by his parents.
