Mr. Earnest Alvin Rickman, age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Rickman will be conducted on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11AM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Latch and Bro. John Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Alvin was born March 29, 1938, the son of the late Hubert & Hazel Marie Warman Rickman. He retired from Brown Shoe in Trenton and was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mr. Rickman is survived by daughter, Teresa Rickman Carroll; sister, Janet Reeves; granddaughter, Sharon Lenee Carroll; and five great-grandchildren, Raelynn Nicole Melder, Karma McCaig, Jon Alston Lippard, Evinslee Lippard, and Marti Elizabeth Lippard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lee Gilliland Rickman.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 6PM to 8PM, Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Earnest Alvin Rickman.
