Edward Melvin Needham

Mr. Edward Melvin Needham, age 80 of Dresden, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at AHC Nursing Home & Rehab. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Needham will be conducted on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 2PM in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with BJ Erwin speaking. Interment will follow in North Union Cemetery. 

He was born December 8, 1943, in Mason Hall, TN; the son of the late Amos & Mary Pierce Needham. He retired from Terry Petty Chevrolet as a parts manager and attended Palmersville Church of Christ. 

Mr. Needham is survived by his loving wife, Rona Needham; three children, Sherry (Rod) Gross, Cynthia (Jerry) Farrar, Heather Needham; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kay Needham; sister, Katie Needham; and brother, Michael Needham. 

The family will receive friends from 1PM until service time, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Edward Melvin Needham.
