Ellen Freeman

Mrs. Ellen Dean Brownlow Freeman, age 88 of Yorkville, Tennessee, passed away from this life on August 24, 2015, at home with her family. Funeral services for Freeman will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer with Bro. Billy Criswell officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Dyer, Tennessee. Mrs. Freeman was born March 16, 1927 in Gibson, County; the daughter of the late Ruben and Opal Glisson Brownlow. Mrs. Freeman was a retired Postmaster at the Yorkville Post Office. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Freeman grew up in Rutherford Tn. and married the late R.S. Freeman, they have two daughters which they raised in Yorkville, Tn. who survive Sheila Tullos and Denise Clark and husband David, four grandchildren, Ted Clifton Tullos Jr. and wife Kimberly, Michael Eric Tullos and wife Jennifer, Matthew Freeman Tullos, and Jennifer Clark Power and husband Jason, six great grandchildren, Austin Power, Courtlyn Power, Jack Tullos, Sunny Tullos, Cote” Tullos, Rawlee Tullos. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 26, 2015. In the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
