Faye Stringer

February 18th, 1930 - January 12th, 2019 Mrs. Faye J. Harris Stringer age 88 of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Rutherford, passed away from this life on Saturday, January 12th, 2019, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services for Mrs. Stringer will be conducted on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Kenton, Tn. with Dr. Charles Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery. Mrs. Stringer was born February 18th, 1930 in Kenton , Tennessee; the daughter of the late John Clayborn and Minnie Montgomery Harris. Mrs. Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, great - grandmother, and friend, along with providing for the needs of others as Care Giver. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kenton. Mrs. Faye is survived by one son, John Gregory Stringer; three daughters, Patrice Stringer Adams, Denise Stringer West, Jill Stringer Swicegood; three sisters, Armelia Harris Phelan, Evelyn Harris Mayhall, Shirley Harris Clark; six grandchildren; and seven great - grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wyche Stringer III; her parents; one brother, Darrell Dane Harris; and one sister, Sue Harris Jewell. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Kenton, Tn.
