Mrs. Frances Alene Warren King, age 93 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. King will be conducted on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford, with Bro. Marlon Stephens and Bro. Eddie Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery in Rutherford, Tennessee. Mrs. King was born October 11, 1922 in Gibson Co. Tennessee; the daughter of the late Albert Lee and Dee Yergin Warren. Mrs. King was housewife, homemaker, and loving mother. Mrs. King was a member of the Old Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. King is survived by her husband Emerson King of 73 years, one son Thomas King, one daughter Margaret Valentine and husband Albert, three grandchildren, Janet Dowlen and husband Jeff, Laurie Baker and husband Rob, Katie McKinney and husband Kyle, and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 5-8 on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford. .
