Frances Morgan

Mrs. Frances Morgan, age 75 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, November 16, 2015 at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan will be conducted on Thursday, November 19 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Scott Jewell officiating. Interment will follow in Double Springs Cemetery in Milan. She was born July 27, 1940; in Hohenwald, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Joe Danner Dowdy and Violet Marie Wilson. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert N. Morgan; children, Billy Eugene Morgan and Bruce Wade Morgan; five sisters, Hazel Jones, Dorothy Moyers, Doris Poynor, Jane McCall and Helen Walker; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Dowdy, Bobby Dowdy and David Dowdy. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday, November 18.
