George Morgan

Mr. George Harold “Skeeter” Morgan, age 90 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on September 30, 2016, at Tennessee State Veterans Home. Funeral services for Mr. Morgan will be conducted on Monday, October 3,2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer with Rev. Paul Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer, Tennessee. Mr. Morgan was born February 10, 1926 in Rutherford, Tennessee; the son of the late George A. and Mary Parlow Morgan. Mr. Morgan was retired Owner of a Heating & Air Conditioning Business. He served his country with the US Navy. Military honors will be observed. Mr. Morgan is survived by three daughters, Linda Ann Balthrop (Robert Jr.), Suzanne Greenhaw (Jim Johnson), Lisa Goad (Wayne), three grandchildren Amy Catherine Gates, Morgan Greenhaw Robertson, Jason Eugene Goad, four great grandchildren, Wills Gates, Declan Gates, Ryan Goad, Ava Goad. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Ann Canada Morgan, and two grandsons Robert “Bobby” Balthrop III, and Justin Wayne Goad, and two brothers, Houston Morgan , James Lee Morgan, and one sister Jeanette Wagster. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. George Harold “Skeeter” Morgan.
