Harold White

Harold White March 31st, 1921 - October 17th, 2018 Harold White age 97 of Rutherford , Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018, at the Tennessee State Veterans Home. Funeral services for Mr. White will be conducted on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford Chapel with Bro. Randy Crews officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery. He was born March 31st, 1921 in Vernon , Texas; the son of Walter and Eva Mae (McWhirter) White. He was a Foreman at Gibson County Electric Corporation for 44 years, and a 70 year member of the Masons. He served his country with the US Army. Military honors will be observed. He is survived by children, Harolyn Joyner (Jerry), Malinda Kassemos (Bill), Jeanita Hicks (Steve), Johnny White (Barbara); sister, Dorothy Dean Lewis; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Wiley White; siblings, Eulan White, Tullos White; and his parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Rutherford Building Fund. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 , at Karnes & Son Funeral Home - Rutherford Chapel.
