Helen Baird

Mrs. Helen Lucille McFarland Baird of Dyer, TN passed peacefully, Mother’s Day, 5/14/2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Helen was born October 11, 1931 in the Beech Grove Community. Helen worked at Brown Shoe Company in administration until the time of her retirement. Helen was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allie and Addie McFarland of Dyer; and a brother, Neil Allison McFarland of Fruitland. She leaves her husband and soulmate of 57 years, John Baird of Dyer, TN; a son, Steve Baird of Dyer, TN; and a niece, Valerie Allison of Pinson, TN. A graveside service for the family will be held 5/16/2017 at Oakwood Cemetery, Dyer, TN. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Helen Lucille McFarland Baird.
