Helen Dillon

Mrs. Helen Laverne Taylor Dillon, age 81 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on October 8, 2015, at Martin Volunteer Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Dillon will be conducted on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton with Bro. Darrell Pollock officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery. Mrs. Dillon was born June 10, 1934 in Kenton, Tennessee; the daughter of the late John and Zona Verble Taylor. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Dillon is survived by one daughter, Janice Amberg of Dresden, Tn.; one son, Johnny Dillon of Kenton, Tn.; three grandchildren, Brandon Roland and wife Marcie, Amy Bell, Robin Teague and husband Eddie; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mamie Louise Taylor. Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duncan “RD” Dillon; one granddaughter, Amber Manley in addition to her parents. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Kenton.
