Jackie Graves

Mr. Jackie Rex Graves, age 74 of Martin, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 2, 2017, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services for Mr. Graves will be conducted on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton. He was born November 15, 1942 in Kenton, TN; the son of the late Clay Winfred Graves and Helen Ring Graves. He worked at Goodyear, until the closing of the plant, in which he retired. Then went to work at MacLean Power Systems in Trenton. He served his country with the US Navy. Military honors will be observed. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Graves; one daughter, Monica Brewer; stepchildren, Hope Horde, and William Jeff Paris; grandchildren, Mandolin Ballou, Montana Brewer, and Megan Brewer; step grandchildren, Brittney Burress, Brooklin Burress, Corey Burress, Kayla Paris, and Chloe Paris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay Winfred Graves and Helen Ring Graves. The family will receive friends from 11:30am-3:00pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton.
