James Randall ‘Randy’ Harris, age 74 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026,at Trenton Healthcare and Rehab. Graveside services for Mr. Harris will be conducted on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11AM in Rutherford Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Burial will immediately follow.

Randy was born June 28, 1952, in Union City, TN; the son of the late James Thomas ‘JT’ & Ila Rose ‘Dot’ Wyrick Harris. He was a hard working man, farming his land, and attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Randy leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Donna Harris; five children, James Thomas Harris, Jennifer Papich, Tiffany Doyle, Jessica Williams, Cory Gordon; twelve grandchildren, Garrett Rogers, Grace Rogers, Maggie Gateley, Mahala Herera, Morgan Doyle, Colette Doyle, Cora Leigh Doyle, Adaline Doyle, Anthony Williams, Aiden Williams, Archer Williams, Calista Williams; and one great-grandchild, Lace Herera. He was preceded in death by his parents, JT and Dot Harris.

Pallbearers are Jonathan Hime, Jearld Flowers, Matthew Williams, Anthony Doyle, Garrett Rogers and Cory Gordon.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9AM until 10:45AM at the Rutheford chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. James Randall ‘Randy’ Harris.
