James Mcclanahan

Mr. James Brandon McClanahan, age 70 of Rives, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, January 1, 2018, at home. Funeral services for Mr. McClanahan will be conducted on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Alamo Baptist Church Cemetery, in Rives, TN. He was born June 7, 1947 in Martin, TN; the son of the late M.L. and Janie Z. (Hill) McClanahan. He was self-employed as a farmer and carpenter, and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Betty McClanahan; children, James Brandon “Skeeter” McClanahan Jr., Angela Morgan, Tim McClanahan, and Tracy Wright; one sister, Sarah Warren; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
