James Edward Oliver

Mr. James Edward Oliver age 90 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at his home. Funeral services for Mr. Oliver will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, with Bro. Lane Self officiating.

Mr. James Edward Oliver was born February 14, 1930 to the late Shellie and Ruhie Bell Oliver. Mr. Oliver was a retired employee of Brown Shoe Company with 46 years of service, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Dyer.

Mr. Oliver is survived by two sons, Jimmy Oliver, and Mike Oliver and wife Rebecca; two grandchildren, Stacey Oliver, and Celena Pate; and three great - grandchildren, Addison Pate, Neelyn Pate, and Summer Oliver. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Oliver, and his parents.

Visitation for Mr. Oliver will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
