Janey Roberts

Mrs. Janey Lou Morris Roberts, age 73, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away on May 1, 2015, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford. Visitation for Mrs. Roberts will begin at 12 noon and go until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Yorkville Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts was born on September 9, 1941, to the late Talmadge Morris and Mary Lucille Pope Morris. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband Joel Clifton Roberts, and a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Roberts was retired from U.T. Medical in Memphis as secretary and billing department. Mrs. Roberts is survived by one daughter, Donna Joy Daniel of Newbern; one son, David K Daniel of Newbern; one brother, Ricky Morris of Newbern; one sister, Melda Morris of Pleasant View,Tn., and one brother-in-law, Phillip Daniel and wife Sherrie of Munford, Tn.; and two grandchildren.
