Janie Hall

Mrs. Janie Hall, age 92 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, May 28, 2018, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy McCall officiating and Dana Welch with the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery, in Yorkville, TN. She was born June 4, 1925 in Yorkville,TN; the daughter of the late Jennings Bryan Hundley and Benanna Spence Hundley. She was manager of Yorkville Telephone Company and worked as a clerk for US Congressman Ed Jones. She was a member of Nebo Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, LaNita VanDyke; two sisters, Beuna V. Sims, Leah Bryan Currey; two grandchildren, Dana Welch (Mike), Justin Wilson VanDyke; and four great grandchildren, Maddie Welch, Rebecca Welch, Alex VanDyke, Garrett VanDyke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hall; and son, Douglas “Doug” Hall. Pallbearers will be Justin VanDyke, Alex VanDyke, Garrett VanDyke, Mike Welch, Mickey Sims, and Bob Trimble. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
