Jay Galloway

Mr. Jay T. Galloway, age 89 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Galloway will be conducted on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton with Bro. Phillip Pinion and Bro. Bobby Williams officiating. Interment will follow in North Union Cemetery, in Kenton. He was born February 8, 1928 in Gibson County, TN; the son of the late Will and Emma Jane (Beaty) Galloway. He retired as a foreman with US Chemical, and was auctioneer with Galloway Auctioneer Company, and a member of Morella Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife Sue Galloway; and one sister, Rebecca Harrison. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Emma Galloway; sisters, Edith Rush, Claudine Yarbrough, Eunice Williams; brothers, Max Galloway, Wilton Galloway, Buford Galloway, Bud Galloway, and Reece Galloway. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Jay T. Galloway.
