Mrs. Jean Sawyer Wilson, age 89 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at the home of her daughter, Donna Barner. Visitation for Mrs. Jean will be conducted Monday, July 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Funeral Services at 2:00 pm, at the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.
She was born June 21, 1931 in Kenton, TN; the daughter of the late Andrew & Merle Sawyer. She was a homemaker and retired from Kellwood Company; and was a member of the Rutherford Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Barner and husband Lee Barner, and Charlotte Dunn; four grandchildren, Dr. James T. Harris, Jennifer Papich, Brandon Dunn, Bethany Page; and six great grandchildren, Garrett Rogers, Grace Rogers, Calianne Dunn, Hutson Dunn, Jack Page and James Olen Page. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Wilson; two brothers; and one dear sister.
